  • Burmese Water Festival (Thingyan) – 3-5 day festival in mid-April

  • Labour Day – 1st of May
  • Full Moon Day of Kasong/Buddha’s Birthday (Vesak) – Varies each year
  • Full Moon Day of Waso/Rains Retreat (Vassa) – Varies each year
  • Martyrs’ Day – 19th of July
  • Full Moon Day of Thadingyut/End of Rains Retreat (Pavarana) – Varies each year
